Author Guidelines

Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the OJS. All authors must register, along with their credits, on the OJS platform, although only one author will be responsible for correspondence. No author may submit or have two manuscripts under review simultaneously. A minimum of four consecutive issues is estimated.

Papers must be submitted in Arial 11 font, single-spaced, fully justified, and without tabs or carriage returns between paragraphs. Only large sections (author, title, abstract, descriptors, credits, and epigraphs) must be separated by a return. Page margins must be two centimeters wide. Papers must be submitted in Word for PC. The file must be anonymized in File Properties so that the authors' identification does not appear.

1. STRUCTURE

Two files must be submitted simultaneously: 1) Cover page (conforming to the official model); 2) Manuscript , strictly following the template found in the Regulations section of the official website.

a) COVER

This file includes:

  • Full name and surname of each of the authors in order of priority (the number must be justified by the subject, its complexity and its extension, with a maximum of 7 authors). Along with the names, the professional affiliation, email address of each author and number must follow. It is mandatory to indicate whether the author holds a doctoral degree (include Dr./Dra. before the name).

In addition , a statement is included:

  • Be a contribution
  • Financing statement.
  • Not sent, during the evaluation and publication process to others
  • Confirmation of authorship
  • Contribution of the authors

b) MANUSCRIPT

This file will contain:

  • Title of the article (concise but informative), in Spanish on the first line and then in English, containing as many meaningful terms as possible. A maximum of 20 words is accepted. These are not only the responsibility of the authors but also of the authors . Therefore, if they do not correctly capture the meaning of the work, they may be modified.
  • abstract in Spanish will concisely describe the purpose and objective of the research, the methodology used, the most notable results, and the main conclusions. The abstract should be structured as follows: justification of the topic, objectives, study methodology, results, and conclusions. It should be written impersonally: "This work is analyzed.
  • Abstract in English of 180/220 words. For its preparation, as with the title and keywords , the use of automatic translators is not permitted due to their poor quality. Reviewers also analyze this factor when assessing the work, and our reviewers analyze the language level and style if necessary.
  • 6 keywords in Spanish / 6 Keywords in English with the most frequently used simple terms in the UNESCO themes. The use of these descriptors and the UNESCO Thesaurus is recommended . New terms are accepted only in exceptional cases. Terms must be in Spanish/standardized scientific English.
  1. Introduction and state of the art : It should include the foundations and purpose of the study, using bibliographic citations, as well as the review of the most significant literature on the subject at national and international level.
  2. Materials and methods : These will be presented with sufficient precision to enable the reader to understand and confirm the progress of the research. Where appropriate, the sample and sampling strategies will be described, as well as the type of statistical analysis used. If the methodology is original, the reasons for its use must be explained and any possible limitations described.
  3. Analysis and results : The most important observations will be highlighted, describing, without making value judgments, the materials and methods used, as well as the most relevant results of the research. The results will be presented in figures and/or tables according to the journal's standards (see other notes). Essential tables or figures will appear in a logical sequence in the text, avoiding data redundancy.
  4. Discussion and Conclusions : Summarize the findings, relating your own observations to other relevant studies, highlighting contributions and limitations, without reiterating data already discussed in other sections. You should mention inferences from the findings and their limitations, including suggestions for future research, and link the conclusions to the study's objectives, avoiding gratuitous assertions and conclusions not fully supported by the data.

Notes : These are considered exceptional and always appear at the end of the article (before the references ) . They must be entered manually, since Word's automatic process is not recognized by layout systems. Note numbers are placed in superscript both in the running text and in the endnote, before the closing period or comma. Notes containing simple bibliographic citations (without comments) are not permitted; these must appear in the references.

Support: The Science Council The Editors recommend that authors specify the source of their research funding. Priority will be given to papers supported by competitive national and international projects. In any case, for scientific evaluation, the manuscript must be anonymized with XXXX for initial assessment only. This will prevent the authors and research teams from being identified. This must be explicitly stated in the Cover Letter and subsequently in the final manuscript.

References: Bibliographic citations should be provided as references to the text. Non-cited bibliographies should not be included. They must be sufficient and necessary to contextualize the theoretical framework, the methodology used, and the research results within an international research space. They should be presented alphabetically by the author's last name (adding the second surname only if the first is widely used, and joined with a hyphen). Citations should be taken from the original documents—preferably journals and, to a lesser extent, books—always indicating the first and last pages of the source work, with the exception of complete works.

Given the importance of citation indexes and impact factor calculations, correct citations in accordance with APA 7.0 will be assessed, with consideration given to references not only to national journals but also to prestigious international journals.

As a general rule, according to APA standards, the author cited in the text is included in the discourse, and the year and page number are indicated in parentheses, preceded by a colon, separated by a hyphen. If the author is not included in the discourse, they are included in parentheses, preceding the year, followed by a comma and a space. It is recommended to look at examples in published articles. It is advisable to use reference managers such as RefWorks , Mendeley, or EndNote , reviewing their results.

Bibliographic citations: both in the discussion thread and in the references, must adhere to uniform and consistent criteria. This is key in a scientific journal. Inconsistencies or deviations from the established rules are unacceptable. Please adhere to the punctuation system: commas, periods, and semicolons.

Tables must be incorporated into the Word document in the order they appear, numbered in Arabic, and subtitled with a description of their contents. They should be used to clarify important points and should not exceed one vertical page in length.

Figures, such as photographs and images, must provide relevant clarification of the text, and must not exceed six graphs and tables. They must be incorporated into the text, in the order in which they appear, numbered in Arabic, and titled with a brief description of their content .

Abbreviations: Only universally accepted ones should be used (see: Units , Symbols, and Abbreviations ). When shortening a term frequently used in the text, the corresponding abbreviation, in parentheses, should be included the first time it appears. Roman numerals should not be used in the text. For decimals, the period to the right of zero should be used, not the comma (for the Spanish version).
